The Guided Tour of the Library (English available)


his guided tour will introduce you the other side of The Central Library that cannot usually be seen, such as the latest library system, the basement stacks and the mechanism of the book returns box. Join in this tour of The Central Library!

Reservations / Please make reservations by phone or come to the reception of Study Room on the 5th floor in the order of arrival.
※Application is also possible on that day when capacity doesn't come up to 10.

Please come to the information counter on the 3rd floor 10 minutes before.

Featured Selections in Foreign Books Section : "Japanese Writers"


In Foreign Books Section, titles featured this time are "Japanese writers".
We selected essays and novels by Japanese writers from our collections mainly translated into English, Chinese and Korean.
Please come and take a look at those books, and you might enjoy reading in a different way from other times you read books in Japanese.

Announcement on Featured Selections at the Foreign Books Section : 'Travel'


At the foreign books section, we selected books about 'Traval' this time. We have travel guides, essays and novels on Japan and other countries, and we mainly selected English, Chinese and Korean books. Please take an opportunity to enjoy those books on travel, and you might find different enjoyment of travel from which you might get from those of Japanese books.

In the Foreign Language Books section, we gathered books about "Health" as our highlighted topic.

We have a collection of books on medicine, sports, diet, and relaxation in the area, which helps you in pursue of a healthy lifestyle.
We have English, Chinese and Korean books on those topics.

Extensive Reading" Feature books at Foreign Language books section

We have many foreign language books that we can read easily without using a dictionary.
We prepare this feature people who learn foreign language. If you're interested in foreign books, please come and see this section. There are many books of English, Chinese and Korean.
